Join us at Windjammer Park for an exciting evening of competition and show by the Goat Boater and The Carolina Show Ski Team.
The Goat Boat Freedom SUP Fun Run (5:00 PM)
The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddle Boarding, & The City of Tega Cay present The FREEDOM SUP Fun Run!
Paddle a short course against friends & foes on July 5th as we kick off the City of Tega Cay’s 4th of July weekend festivities w/a Paddleboard fun run.
Details will be provided on the day of sign-in. Open to all ages & all ability paddlers. Board, Paddle, and Safety gear provided.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Day of registration is not guaranteed. This will be an elimination round paddle. The final winner takes home a 4th of July prize.
The Boat Parade will stage at Niven's Creek Landing beginning at 4 pm with Float-Off at 5 pm.
Pack your day red, white, and blue on Friday, July 5th on the Lake and help us celebrate the birth of our nation, as well as the City of Tega Cay's 42nd birthday!
The "All-American Celebration" Flotilla will travel around the peninsula beginning at Niven's Creek Landing and end at Windjammer Park with announcements.
It is very important to the success of the parade and the full enjoyment and safety of all participants and spectators that you know your responsibilities. Please review the guidelines with your participants on the parade registration form. All entries must register to participate. No on-day participants will be accepted.
The Carolina Show Ski Team (6:30 PM)
The Carolina Show Ski Team will dazzle audiences with daring jumps, spectacular pyramids, and stunts. Hailed as one of Lake Wylie's most favored attributes, the team will showcase their regionally and nationally recognized skills on the water! Because seating is limited, bring a blanket or chair to sit on.
Please remember pets, coolers, outside food and drink, alcohol, and weapons are not permitted at the event.

PARKING:
Windjammer Park will close to vehicles from 3 pm until 9 pm
Parking with FREE Shuttle Service from Glennon Center and Runde Park
From Glennon Center 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
From Runde Park 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE: Windjammer Drive will only be accessible for event personnel and residents living on Windjammer. All other vehicles will be directed away.
