We teach survival skills before stroke techniques, so every swimmer is prepared to survive an accidental fall into the water. Water survival is a unique skill set and knowing how to survive means less worry for you as a parent. Students receive five clearly defined goals for each class level, and they advance individually and at their own pace. By monitoring these goals, our instructors know exactly what skill to work on with each swimmer.
Our curriculum-based program allows swimmers to follow the class structure they’ve become accustomed to as they advance. Heather-We have loved British Swim School. My son's confidence in the water has increased dramatically since bringing him to BSS. The instructors have been wonderful and encouraging. He's made so much progress in very little time and loves to remind me frequently that he's moved up 3 levels since he started. As a mom of 4, it's sometimes challenging to get everyone where they need to be, so I appreciate having a program that allows some flexibility in scheduling and locations. I can't recommend British Swim School enough!
Amanda-This is the BEST swimming school in the Charlotte area! We called other places, and honestly, they just did not match up in terms of lesson plans, attention, support, and organization! James takes each family step by step through the program and will answer any and all questions at any time! The staff members, make each student feel like they are the only ones in the room, regardless of age or ability level! The program is definitely a worthwhile, reasonable, and important investment to make for water safety and a lifetime love of swimming! We LOVE British Swim School and would not go anywhere else!
