Being different isn't so bad after all, or at least that's the lesson that Ollie the Little Big Foot teaches us in this heartwarming story by Tega Cay's own Champion family.
Oliver, or Ollie as he's called, sometimes does things differently - just like Max Champion, the inspiration for this charming children's book. Max, who was diagnosed with PDD-NOS as a young child, showed his family just how incredible his differences are every single day. And, during the 2020 COVID lock-down, they all decided to work on a children's book to both celebrate those incredible differences and similarities - this book is for everyone!
Ollie is a book about embracing people's differences. Our little Ollie is on the spectrum, and he takes you on his adventures during the week with his family and friends. Our goal is to creatively educate children and adults that it is ok to be different. After all, different is fun, special and wonderfully unique.
