Hanukkah begins on December 18th at Sundown and all across the Charlotte Metro area, Jewish families will be joining together to sing the blessings over the candles of their menorah to celebrate the great miracle that happened when a small drop of oil (enough for one day), lasted eight days.

And, as our metro area has grown in population, so had its Jewish community, bringing with it FIVE opportunities to celebrate Hanukkah with your Jewish neighbors and friends.

Below find the local menorah lighting festivities around Charlotte.

And if you are interested in introducing Hanukkah to your children, or just want to celebrate with other members of the local Jewish community, the Chabad of Charlotte is hosting its annual Chanukah Wonderland on December 18 - 22, 2022 in Ballantyne. Your kids will be able to play games, make crafts, have traditional Chanukah snacks and have fun with friends (new and old!). Reservations are required as space is limited.
