Nothing says summer more than a cannonball into the pool or off the pier at the lake, running into the ocean, wave-jumping and boogie boarding. But for parents, one of the biggest summer worries is keeping your kiddo safe in the water.
You officially have 115 days until summer, and NOW is the perfect time to kick off some swim lessons or get your child re-acclimated to the water.
- Learning to swim takes time ~ this is not an activity we can rush. Some kids are naturally great, others may be fearful. You need to allow each the time they need to become comfortable and trust the process.
- During the pandemic, there was a spike in accidental pool drownings. People are more distracted and exhausted than they've been - so teaching your child swim safety is even more important than ever before.
- Indoor Swimming is a great activity to do when the weather is still cold outside. Our facility is warm, we have changing rooms and a place to sit and relax, so you and your kiddos can take your time before heading back out into the elements.
- Summer is packed with water activities and you want your child to have fun and be safe. Don't wait until your beach trip with the family to introduce your kids to the water. Allow yourself a vacation, too!
- Summer swim teams start in May so now is the perfect time to get them ready.
To get your kiddos ready, you can take advantage of SafeSplash Swim Labs Winter Swim Jam!
Winter SwimJam features 4 consecutive days of swim lessons designed to function both as an introduction to SafeSplash + SwimLabs and as a way for swimmers to continue building their swimming technique and safety skills. Each class is 45 minutes, with a 3:1 swimmer-to-instructor ratio Monday-Thursday.
We are offering SwimJams for our beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers. The repetition reinforces what your swimmer is practicing and accelerates their learning.
