Meet Future First Education (FFE)

FFE offers DEI courses for Moms, Educators & Professionals to “Do the work. Starting at Home.”

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of meeting Natasha McNeil, a local BIPOC Mom and founder of Moms Against Racism. Realizing that combatting racism requires educational resources not traditionally available en masse, she and her team created Future First Education - DEI courses for Educators & Advocates “Equitable teaching. Closing the divide."

Future First Education (launched in February as a division of Moms Against Racism) will be hosting its monthly Circle Time (for grown-ups) on March 9th. This month’s live broadcast on their Facebook page will cover classroom management strategies that encourage inclusion. Help us spread the word and share this information with a teacher in your life. Speaking of teachers, their teacher spotlight series is a great way to showcase what you love in your kids’ classrooms. Nominate a teacher by emailing education@momsagainstracism.org

This month, FFE is honoring Anjalee Beverly. Head over to their Facebook page and check out all the great things they are doing to encourage diversity and inclusion in the school system. Register for classes to further your personal or professional journey.
