Atomz Lab
A Great Place for a Birthday Bash!

The oldest Macaroni Kid turned 10 last month. I knew that this would be his last offical birthday party, so I wanted it to be something fun and memorable. We were graciously hosted by Atomz Lab and it was exactly what I had hoped for.
Atomz Lab is located off of route 521 in Indian Land. They offer birthday parties and educational programs with themes that are based around the wonder and love of science. Our birthday party theme was "The Science of Star Wars". If you are looking for a way to keep a group of 10 years old entertained for 90 minutes, this is it!
The kids participated in 3 experiments, which all began with a short lesson on the experiment and how it related to the Star Wars movies. The kids were amazed by Lorie as she taught them about moisture farming (like they did on Taooine), helped them rescue a Star Wars character from carbonite (spoiler alert, Hans would NOT have survived in real life) and taught them how to create molten lava (not quite as hot as the kind that destroyed Vader's lungs).
This party was a hit from beginning to end. Dawn, Lorie and Davis, are super friendly, professional and have all the patience in the world. If you are looking for a fun and exciting place to host your child's next birthday party, head over to Atomz Lab OR let them come to you!
